Pompetravaini chemical process pumps
Our Italian partner was established over 80 years ago. They manufacture centrifugal and vacuum pumps and vacuum systems. Their centrifugal pump range includes pumps with various impeller types, as well as single-stage, multi-stage, and self-priming pumps, available in both horizontal and vertical designs.

In 2000, a state-of-the-art, fully automated and robotized warehouse was constructed, which is one of the most advanced in Europe. The pumps are manufactured in compliance with the ISO 2858 standard.
Single stage centrifugal pumps
Pompetravaini's TCH series was designed with the manufacturer's extensive experience, customer feedback, and various applications in mind. Following the example of API standards, the new pumps not only comply with ISO 2858, but also reflect the guidelines of ISO 5199, ensuring reliable operation even under the toughest conditions.
Main characteristics of the Travaini chemical process pumps
- for the transport of clean or slightly contaminated, including hot, superheated, acidic and corrosive substances commonly used in the petrochemical, pharmaceutical, food, paper industry, waste water treatment, battery production, metallurgy, etc.
- capacity up to 500 m3/h and 16 bar
- wide range of materials, from cast iron to hastelloy, in various combinations
- excellent hydraulic efficiency, low NPSH requirement
- shaft sealing available by gland packing, single or double mechanical seal, in accordance with ISO 3069, in any API arrangement.
- casing jacket available for cooling or heating purposes
- monoblock design available up to 30kW, coupled rigidly to a standard flanged (B5) motor
- The TCH and the derived TCT, TCA and TCD pumps share many common parts and components, significantly reducing the need to stock spare parts.

TCT series
- vortex impeller pumps
- for transporting suspended solids, fibrous or viscous media
- max. 250 m3/h, 7 bar

TCA series
- open impeller pumps
- for transporting abrasive media containing significant amounts of suspended solids
- machines with modern blade profiles and narrow gap sizes offer high hydraulic efficiencies and low NPSH requirements.

TCD series
- pumps with a special seal and bearing housing design
- for heat transfer media, up to 320°C without requiring a special cooling system, or up to 365°C with active air cooling
- TCD/SP pumps for hot vegetable oils

- for clean and slightly polluted media, boiler feed water, water supply, fire water systems, irrigation, hydrocarbons

TBH/TBA multistage, self-priming pumps
- for transporting clean liquids, corrosive, hot or cold, chemical, petrochemical, pharmaceutical or food industry substances
- also suitable for transporting liquefied gases, LPG
- star impellers, side channel type pump
- axial or vertical suction nozzle arrangement available
- cooling / heating jacket available
- monoblock design available up to 22 kW
- thanks to the first, closed impeller stage of TBA pumps, their NPSH requirement is extremely low
