Goulds process pumps
In the spring of 1848, Goulds Pumps opened its doors in Seneca Falls, upstate New York and produced its first water pump, made of wood and banded with metal. The company later produced an all-metal pump, around the time when gold mining took off in California, a major innovation that helped shape industrialization. We are celebrating the 170th anniversary of Goulds Pumps.
